Visiting Athens, Greece - the cradle of the Olympics - is on your agenda, but the wallet is too thin right now? Well... while you're waiting for it to "take on some weight", how about spending some time in Athens County, Ohio. The area is no piker when it comes to welcoming guests. London and Moscow

Gas prices... fuel prices gotcha...? Travel plans on hold...? Always wanted to visit London, England...? Well... It may not have Buckingham Palace or the changing of the guard, but why not give London, Arkansas a try? You might be surprised at what this little historic town has to offer.

Paris and Rome

Always wanted to go to Paris, France? Can't afford it? Why not try Paris, Kentucky? Maybe it doesn't have the Eiffel Tower or the famous fashion district, but it is a proud little city with a lot to offer.

For a trip into the past, take the family to see the Coleridge covered bridge. Not far from the bridge is the Hopewell Museum, which is unique in its exhibits, including a free-standing one of Garrett Morgan, an African-American man born in Paris who invented the gas mask and the traffic light.
