5 Beach Vacation Tips

Travel Tips

By Mansi Aggarwal

Ponder over the thought that how solitary and incomplete the moon would look without the twinkling stars that add to its charm…how odd would the eyes deprived of tender eyelashes and thick eyebrows appear! Nature creates things differently but they are seen to assist and complement each other in some way or the other. The very natural phenomenon holds good in case of our dressing and grooming. Our shoes, hat, bags etc. are in consonance with our outfit. If not much but the least that can be done to look trendy and perfect is to wear a dress that should be contrasting or corresponding to our pair of sandals.

Hotels in Central Rome

Accommodations

By Stefano Sandano

As with all holiday accommodation, the golden rule of 'cheaper out, nicer in' applies to Rome - That is to say, you can save a lot of money by choosing a hotel in central Rome, but it's much more fun to be staying right in the middle of the city - You catch more of the atmosphere that way. However, public transport in Rome is incredibly cheap and quite efficient, so it's not such a hardship to 'commute' into central Rome from a hotel or 'pensione' (bed & breakfast) on the outskirts of the city. If you decide to do this, obviously you should make sure before you book that your hotel accommodation is situated close to a subway station or major bus route. By major, we mean one that goes straight to the heart of the city without you needing to change buses two or three times. If you opt for an hotel located in central Rome, it is very well worth paying extra for a room with a view, at least four or five floors up, as, unlike many cities, Rome is devastatingly beautiful when seen in panorama from above, and this will add tremendously to the value of your holiday. Even if you can't get a room with a view, some hotels have roof gardens with spendid views across the city center of Rome.

Save Money by Bidding on Hotel Rooms

Accommodations

By Rick Archer

Rick Archer sat down with Don Nadeau, the president of BidonTravel.com, which provides Priceline bidding advice.

RA: Why would anyone want to use Priceline?

DN: You'll save a lot of money.

RA: Yes, but who wants to get up in time for a 6:00 a.m. flight? You can't pick your departure times or airline or anything like that.

DN: Well, just use Priceline for air tickets when you're going to Australia or traveling at the last minute. You'll save hundreds of dollars. When you can plan your U.S. travel well in advance, Priceline may not be your best bet. But always bid on Priceline hotels. That's easy and you don't have to get up at 4:00 a.m.
